Thank
you for visiting the official get well Kirsten Page:
Update:
07-05-10
During the course of Sawdust Days there
was a rumor that Kirsten had been looking for Crusty, up until this image was
uncovered of her in the audience that had not been confirmed. Now FWA has received
word from Kirsten's doctors that she is medically cleared to return to in ring
training. Unfortunately this does not mean she is ready to step back in front
of the FWA fans and lay crusty out for the world to see, but it does mean she
is ready to begin working the ropes and getting her body back in shape to challenge
him in the future. Her road to recovery has been a rough one, but that can only
mean one thing. That the pain and suffering that she has been through is nothing
compared to what she will make Crusty endure when she finally does step back between
the ropes!

Update:
01-03-10
According to a post by Kirsten's publicist on the message board of
the official website, www.fusionwrestlingalliance.com, she has been cleared to
resume working out. She was also scheduled for a follow-up visit with her surgeon
this week to evaluate her rehabilitation process.
There
is still no definitive return date set for Kirsten, who is recovering from recent
surgery. The hope is that she can return sometime to work a program with Crusty.
"I'm
feeling better by the day and can't wait to get back to 100%, and better than
ever," Kirsten wrote. "Rehab and training is coming along slowly but
good."
"I've recovered
quite a bit and I should be back to 100 percent soon."
I
still dont have 100 percent full extension in my leg, so now I dedicate
a lot more time-and I mean a lot more- to stretching, icing down, heating up,
and all those little things every athlete should do.
Im
doing stairs on it now, Kirsten said. I started therapy. Im
on the long road to getting back. I had crutches and I was in a cast, but now
I can actually do some things like walk again and I can wear shoes.
It
will definitely be next year, Kirsten said. It wont be anytime
before next year. I would love to come back earlier, but its too soon to
tell."
She said shes
went to Dr. James Andrews for follow-ups to her injury and is doing some major
therapy in Milwaukee with other therapy sessions in Green Bay.
She
has no idea when she will return. She was originally told 18 to 24 monthes. She
has to see Andrews and then get in a wrestling ring to see how everything holds
up. She said she's hoping for the first quarter of 2011.
Update:
10-09-09
At this time FWA is happy to report that Kirstens condition has improved
greatly and she is now out of the ICU and out of the hospital all together as
well.
She is a little worse for the ware at this time but recovering at home.
The doctors tell us that she will be out of action until late 2010 at the
earliest.
Doctors have informed us that her recover is expected to progress
as follows;
First she will have to wait till the end of the year for her cast
to tentatively come off. That is if everything has healed properly, at that point
she can begin her therapy to get full function in her legs again after being out
of use for so long.
This is expected to take 6 months. At that time doctors
will evaluate her condition again and determine if she is ready to head back into
the gym. When she is strong enough, she will begin back in ring training for her
return late 2010 early 2011. That is, of course if everything goes to plans.
After
suffering through what she has been though, doctors are not even sure she will
make a full enough recovery to be able to reenter the ring.
Although Kirsten
is still not feeling the greatest we did get a chance for a very brief interview
with her, and she is determined to make a return to the ring to challenge the
man she believes has taken away almost two years of her wrestling career.
Although
authorities have yet to confirm that Crusty did have anything to do with the accident,
we do know that they have taken him in for questioning. He is a suspect for sure,
and has been told not to leave the state, but beyond that, we don't have much
else to report on this matter.
Of course we will have more info as it become
available to us. And once Kirsten begins her therapy she has agreed to give us
personal updates right here for you all to enjoy.
For
those of you who don't know, July 26th 2009 Kirsten was in a sever car accident
involving a tanker truck after her break line had been tampered with by Fusion
Wrestling Alliance superstar Crusty!
Crusty has been suspended from FWA indefinitely
by order of The General Manager Damon Knight, effective on Aug. 16th 2009.
Below
you can find information on the crash, doctor's reports and a "Recovery"
Blog from Kirsten herself when she is feeling better.
Crusty
and Kirsten had a short but heated rivalry at the 2009 Sawdust Days, where she
ended up beating him in a Last Diva Standing Match; Crusty spent the next day
in the beer tent drinking away his sorrows until a young boy asked for his autograph.
Crusty realized that he wasn't down and out yet, and swore his revenge at Unhappy
Home Comings July 26th, with the exact words;
"Let this message ring
out loud and clear like the shrill cry of a church bell in the still of the night!
KIRSTEN!
At Unhappy Home Comings, YOU WILL BE LUCKY IF YOU MAKE IT HOME!"
Unfortunately
true to his word Kirsten did not make it home that night.

Teenage girl in serious condition after colliding with a tanker
truck
One teenager is hospitalized
in serious condition this morning after a crash early Sunday morning on US-41
involving a gasoline tanker truck and a car.
The car was merging left from
Hwy 23 onto US Hwy 41 when it was struck broadside by the fully loaded semi-tractor
truck headed northeast, police said.
"The car got caught up under the
front end of the semi-tractor and was pushed several hundred feet north of the
Ramp," said Fond du Lac County Undersheriff Dean Roesler.
The crushed
vehicle was pinned under the truck
Firefighters from the city of Fond du Lac
responded to the 11:22 a.m. crash. They freed the driver, 16-year-old Kirsten
Stuck, of Fond du Lac, who was brought to the hospital in critical condition but
was reported in serious condition this morning at St. Agnes Hospital.
Roesler
said the cars break line appeared to be damaged. Investigators are seeking further
information and calls should be directed to the Fond du Lac Sheriffs office.
This
morning, Stuck's family said she had recently began training with the Fusion Wrestling
Alliance in Appleton and was one of the fastest rising stars there.
Her mother,
described as a fun-loving but conscientious young woman.
She had been very
active in other sports as well such as soccer and basket ball she was also on
the honor roll at Fond du Lac High school and was looking forward to going to
the University of Concordia Mequon, to become a pharmacist after graduation.
Roesler
said there was no indication that alcohol or some other substance may have played
a role in the crash. That determination will have to wait for test results.
The
truck driver, 62-year-old Pete Anthony Faskey, of Alanson, said he was about 100
to 150 feet south of the ramp when the car "swerved over into the lane right
in front of him," Roesler said.
So far, investigators have identified
two witnesses and are looking for a third. The two interviewed told police the
car appeared to swerve and speed up and that the truck driver did not have time
to stop.
Roesler said investigators determined that she was wearing her seat
belt. "The first emergency workers on the scene did feel seat belts were
in use," he said. This may be the only reason she was not killed.
At some
point today, investigators planned to return to the scene to map the crash. That
will mean traffic along Hwy 41 will have to be rerouted, Roesler said.
Also
assisting at the crash scene were Fond du Lac police, Wisconsin State Police and
Gold Cross Ambulance.
